Our story

We're locals building the club we always wanted.

Volta did not start in a boardroom. It started with people from the Hamilton to Niagara corridor wishing they had somewhere like this, for years.

Where it began

From here, for here.

We are from the corridor. We grew up, play, work and raise families in the towns between Hamilton and Niagara. And for years, the same thing kept coming up: to play padel properly, to find a real wellness hub, to get a great workout and then actually relax somewhere nice, we had to leave. Drive to the city. Settle for less. Or just go without.

So we started asking around. We talked to players, families, local business owners and neighbours across the corridor about what was missing and what they actually wanted. The answers were remarkably consistent, and the support was real. Hundreds of people put their names forward before a single court existed. That is not a marketing list. That is a community telling us it is ready.

What we are building

Volta brings it all together under one roof, on one membership. Play is championship padel and dedicated pickleball. Stay is a cafe, bistro and social lounge where the day keeps going. Rest is a 24/7 gym, a women's-only gym, and a wellness hub with sauna, cold plunge and jacuzzi. Reset is what happens when those finally live in the same place: you can train, play, recover and reconnect without ever leaving.

Why the corridor

We chose the centre of the corridor on purpose, right on the QEW, roughly 25 minutes from Hamilton and 30 minutes from Niagara Falls, so it reaches Grimsby, Beamsville, Lincoln, Stoney Creek, Winona, St. Catharines and the towns in between. The people who kept asking for this should not have to drive far to use it.

Built with the community

We are not dropping a franchise into a parking lot. We are locals building something we want to use ourselves, shaped by the people who will use it too. You asked for it. You helped shape it. Now we are bringing it together, for all of us.

Be part of it from day one.
